Sammy Sylvester, the Greatest of Jesters, invites attendees to play games of riddles, tongue twister challenges, “fill in the blank” rhymes, and other (inter)activities designed to spark joy with good clean fun. She excels at engaging event guests, creating a fun and merry atmosphere, and making people feel special as their personal jester for five minutes of "WOW!". Sammy also entertains from afar with dazzling displays of spinning flower sticks (a circus art best thought of as “3-stick baton-twirling”) and juggling.
Stage shows are available in 30, 45, and 60 minute increments.
Upon request, Sammy lights up evening and indoor events with her sparking personality– as well as a slate of color-changing LED juggling gear.

Meet Sammy Sylvester, the Greatest of Jesters
Storyteller Erim Akpan shares legends and fables from across the world, from the heart of Africa to the shores of Vietnam, the hidden roads of India, and beyond. Despite originating thousands of miles apart, these stories all teach us to see the threads of humanity which tie us together rather than the differences that divide us. Alongside intercultural fables, Erim enjoys sharing the life stories of unsung African American trailblazers and influential women of history.
In addition to “sit back and listen” stories, Erim’s performances include a unique flavor of interactivity, with rousing rhythm games, relaxing deep breathing activities, and some stories where the audience plays key characters. Fables include "The King of the Birds," “The Tiger, the Jackal, and the Priest,” “The Spiders and the Flies,” and other family favorites.
